Explore and compare books using natural language processing (ongoing).
For my Grace Hopper Program “Stackathon” project, I chose to start re-creating the Bookalator site I made in grad school.
Stackathon is a solo project that students have four days to work on. I spent about half of that time trying to figure out what the Airbnb linter, which I had never used before, wanted from me; half of it trying to seed my database; and another half hard-coding data into my components so that I’d have something to present.
I’ve put a few more days’ work into this application since August, but it’s still very much under construction.
